Missibaba is a Cape Town based accessory design label established by Chloe Townsend in 2005 after studying at the London College of Fashion. Her ongoing love affair with leather - its smell, malleability, depth of colour and texture - have been the underlying constant element in her design: be it pleated, printed, hand-painted, punched-out, cut-out or stitched.

A happy work environment is key - whether collaborating with craftswomen at the iKaya Trust centre, in Kayamandi, or with her fabulous workshop team, creating bespoke bags, belts and jewellery. Inspiration by people and natural surroundings allows for constant surprise, creativity and beautiful bags.
