HOW DOES IT WORK
Africhic.com is an online marketing and sales platform that supports and showcases designs made in Africa, like yours, to the global market. Through the collaboration of our site and you, the designer, our goal is increase designers' visibility in a global context.
So, how exactly are we able to help YOU use this platform for your brand? Africhic.com allows designers to market their profile and sell their designer items. As long as your pieces are made in Africa, anything from fashion to interior design goes!

First, make sure that you carefully read though our terms&conditions below. If after reading, you think africhic.com could help benefit your brand, please click on the I ACCEPT button to indicate that you accept the terms&conditions.
You will then be lead to a page that will guide step by step through how to set up your designer profile. Don't worry, this should not take you more than a few minutes.
After you submit your profile, the africhic.com team will receive and review your information and then determine whether or not your brand fits into our portfolio.
We will then contact you regarding your acceptance and will provide you with access to your very own store page on africhic.com, where you can self manage your store via uploading new products to sell, updating your lookbook or information about yourself.

Please read the following terms and conditions if you intend to use africhic.com solely as a platform for sales and payment, while your items remain stored in your studio. Here at africhic.com, we strongly support quality African designs and excellent customer service.

SELLING RIGHTS
Designers grant africhic.com the right to act as an online platform to sell their products online on the designers behalf. All pieces must be ready to be shipped to customers in less than 72 hours from order submission, unless they are being custom made and so specified in the product description.

ITEMS ON SALE
Each listing must be an item that is available for purchase. You are not permitted to submit a listing for an item that is either sold out or no longer for sale.

PRODUCT IMAGES
Please upload high quality images of your products - size should be at least 200KB but cannot be higher than 500KB. Product images are crucial for online sales, therefor we require that you provide a minimum of three pictures per item of clothing, including a detail/fabric shot. Poor picture quality can result in refusal to sell by africhic.com.

PRODUCT PRICES
It is the designer's responsibility to determine the selling prices of the products and africhic.com shall only sell the designer's products at their fixed selling price. Please keep in mind that prices must be inclusive of all respective taxes, commissions and shipping costs (consumer pays shipping costs if order below certain amount - please check here to read all about delivery). Prices have to be listed in ZAR - in case you are not from South Africa - user the currency converter to know how much your item sells for in ZAR - your consumer will see the price based on location they are logging in from.

COMMISSION
africhic.com keeps a commission for offering its website to designers as a means to showcase and sell their products and/or services as well as interacting with consumers and designers. For these services, africhic.com will charge 30% commission on price (incl. VAT) of products. This commission will simply be deducted from the total amount received per consumer per purchase - so the designer will receive 70% of the sales price transferred via bank transfer to his or her account.

ORDERS AND TRANSACTIONS
africhic.com will gather orders from customers and then pass along those orders directly to the designer. Designers will then, to the best of their ability, fill orders duly remitted by africhic according to the following conditions; ensuring that the orders are fulfilled in no later than 72 hours after the order has been placed - unless is has been stated differently in the product's description.
Communication is the key to a smooth transaction, and therefore we encourage both buyers and designers to smooth out any details or problems that may arise during the order and transaction process. However, africhic should still be made aware of the progress of the transaction, and thus copied into all emails.
The non-completion of an order due to unavailability of the item will result in immediate loss of selling rights on africhic.

VACATION MODE
Should designers be away on vacation or otherwise unable to fill the order in the required time frame stated above, the africhic Team must to be promptly notified and the designer's products need to be deactivated during this period - which can be done via self-management.

SHIPPING AND PACKAGING
You are responsible for packaging of the purchased items in perfect condition and in the shortest possible time.
Africhic intends to maintain excellent customer satisfaction. Therefore, please remember we represent quality African designs, so not only do your items have to be in perfect condition but the packaging will also be held to the same high standards. Any negative customer feedback related to quality of your products, packaging or customer service can result in suspension of your selling rights.

RETURNS
Africhic offers customers the same return conditions as those provided when we deliver items from our own Showroom. Customers are required to be in contact with africhic.com within 8 days of delivery and request for a return in their account. Once this return query has been launched we will arrange for the consumer to receive your address and send for the return parcel. Once the parcel arrives with you and all is in order, you must let us know so we can reverse the payment to the consumer.

PAYMENT TO DESIGNER
Payment into designers’ accounts will only be made after their product has been delivered, the customer's satisfaction has been expressed, and there has been no expressed desire to return the good for 8 days after the product was received. We are storing your EFT details and you will receive your part of the sales price (70%) after the 8 days return right (after receipt of goods) have passed.

TERMINATION OF THE SELLING RIGHTS
If the designer breaks any conditions set forth in this agreement, africhic.com may subsequently terminate the selling rights of the designer.
