Please review these policies carefully as they are the terms of sale that govern your purchases at africhic.com. Your placement of an order at africhic.com constitutes your agreement that these policies apply to the order, so be certain you understand them before you place your order.

Return or exchange an item

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return the item or items in their original condition and original packaging within 8 days of receipt. You will be issued a refund to the payment means selected by you on receipt, or exchange the item for a different size / colour if preferred*.

For returns within South Africa: Please log in to your account online. Go to my account / my orders and click cancel order. This is how we will receive your return request. We will then arrange Dawnwing (our courier service) to collect the parcel from the address you indicated previously for receiveing your parcel. The courier service will bring all the necessary wrapping and an address slip along. Please address the parcel to: africhic at CTFC, 2nd floor Harrington House, 37 Barrack Street, 8001 Cape Town. We will deduct R50 of your refund amount for this service. If you ordered more items and keep at least 1 of them - no fee for returns apply. Your reimbursement happens as soon as we receive the parcel and check it for its original condition. We cannot return any delivery fee you paid to receive the parcel.

For international orders: Please log in to your account online. Go to my account / my orders and click cancel order. This is how we will receive your return request. You are responsible to send the parcel back to us via distribution of choice (as long as it does not take longer than 2 weeks). Please make sure you receive a tracking code or insure the parcel for your own interest as we cannot be held liable if the parcel does not arrive. We cannot assume the costs for returning the item. Your reimbursement happens as soon as we receive the parcel and check it for it's original condition. We cannot return any delivery fee you paid to receive the parcel. I received the wrong item

If the item you received is not what you originally ordered, please contact customer care quoting your order number and the reason for return, and whether you require a refund or a replacement. We will then advise on how to proceed with the return.

Discount codes & vouchers

If a discount was applied to your original order, the amount refunded will be adjusted to allow for the revised order value and appropriate discount level.

This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.

*Note: when trying on items of clothing, please ensure that you are not wearing perfume / aftershave or a deodorant which may leave a scent or marks on the item. We will be unable to accept the return of any item where there is evidence that these instructions have not been followed. The item must be returned in its original packaging with any enclosed documentation.

Jewellery care guidelines: Avoid contact with perfume, deodorant, hairspray or water. Avoid scratching your jewellery by storing in a non-abrasive box or pouch. Handle with care and do not apply any unnecessary force.
